General Information

At RicarBathPlan, we strive to provide the highest quality bathroom planning and remodeling services. Our refund policy is designed to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining fair business practices.

Deposit and Payment Terms

All bathroom remodeling projects require a 30% deposit upon contract signing. The remaining balance is due upon project completion and before final walkthrough. Deposits are non-refundable as they secure materials, labor scheduling, and project planning resources.

Change Orders

Changes to the original scope of work may be requested by the client during the project. Such changes will be documented in a written change order and may affect the project timeline and final cost. Approved change orders are binding and non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy

If a client wishes to cancel a project after contract signing:

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled start date: 50% of the deposit may be refunded, less any non-refundable material costs
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled start date: Deposit is non-refundable
  • Cancellations after project commencement: No refund of deposit or progress payments

Defective Work

In the unlikely event that work is found to be defective or not completed to the agreed specifications, we will work with the client to identify and rectify any issues. We stand behind our craftsmanship and will make necessary corrections at no additional cost to the client.

Material Returns

Special order materials, custom fixtures, and personalized items cannot be returned for refund. Standard materials that have not been installed and remain in resalable condition may be eligible for store credit, subject to supplier policies and restocking fees.

Timeline Changes

Project timeline extensions requested by the client may result in additional costs due to labor scheduling, material storage, and project management. These additional costs are non-refundable.

Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, supply chain disruptions) that prevent project completion, we will work with clients to reschedule or modify the project scope. Deposits remain non-refundable but may be applied to future project dates.

Refund Process

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to adelinerivera@ricarbathplan.com. Valid refund requests will be processed within 30 business days of receipt. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method when possible.
